Sapphire is from the direct line of H&M Extra who performed at the top level of the sport before standing at stud with Zangersheide. In fact the mother of Sapphire, Ducinda, is full sister to H&M Extra along with More Than Extra who also compted in 1.60m classes. Ducinda is a daughter of Berlin and behind carries the influential blood of Heartbreaker and Concorde. Other notable 1.60m jumpers from this line include Adare and Mandy. Sapphire is by Highway TN, the current ride of Lillie Keenan, who was very successful with Willem Greve previously. Under Willem Highway TN Won the 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix in 's-Hertogenbosch and in 2023 was named KWPN Jumping Horse of the Year. His offspring are already out compteting. His 8 year old daughter Nina VC has already posted results in 1.50m classes.
